The essential tour for all visitors to Norfolk Island.  This tour will set the scene for the rest of your holiday and introduce you to the splendours of our island paradise.  A perfect beginning as you marvel at the beauty of Norfolk, learn about our convict and mutinous history, and about contemporary life here.  A three (3) hour tour with morning or afternoon tea served.

Convict Ruins (minimum 6)

Journey through historic Kingston - to the graveyard, ruins and buildings that are regarding as the most impressive collection of convict built Georgian buildings in the southern hemisphere.  Learn about the commandants, convicts and settlers that played a part in Norfolk's sometimes brutal, but always intriguing past.  A three (3) hour tour with morning or afternoon tea served.

Kingston My Way (minimum 6)

Learn first hand how the magnificent Georgian buildings of Kingston were built, as well as why, when and by whom.  Puss Anderson who spent 40 years as head of Restoration at Kingston will be your guide.  Refreshments provided.

History in the making (minimum 4)

Learn why the first Norfolk Island settlement from 1788 to 1814 was more successful than Sydney.  Learn why the convict penal settlement from 1825 to 1855 was no place for the meek and mild and where even the toughest spirit was broken. 

Experience first hand stone cutting, shingle splitting, timber cutting and rope making at the home of a Pitcairn descendant.  Visit 200 year old work sites and see where produce gardens once thrived.
